Deep in the pine forests of The Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina sits a little piece of rabbit heaven known as “Ruby’s Rabbits” in Asheville, NC. Or as my husband likes to call it "The Rabbit Ritz". We are a small rabbitry in size, but large on dedication to those adorable and sometimes frustrating furry critters we all love. We are a Boutique Rabbitry specializing in quality not quantity and breed to ARBA standards.
We established our rabbitry in March of 2008, but actually had our first pet bunnies long before that and began showing in January 2009. In the show circuit for such a short time we have done extremely well and we are very proud of that fact! Being big animal lovers our bunnies are surrounded by seven dogs and one parrot each having a special place in our hearts.
We raise Holland Lops and American Fuzzy Lops those adorable long eared bunnies high on personality for show, brood and pet. Our rabbitry is ARBA registered and we are members of the HLRSC, AFLRC, NCRBA and The Blue Ridge Rabbit and Cavy Association of which I am the current Vice President. All our rabbits come from champion stock. Some of our pet bunnies have gone on to become therapy rabbits. Our bunnies now live in various states across the U.S. and we happy to work with youth breeders and 4H clubs.
I am the Zone Nine Director for the Holland Lop Club which I am very excited about!!!
Our lines are Lov's,Campo's,Camelot, Smith's , CK's Hair, Bastet's, and BH etc....
